Transparent, separate accounting — with no real money moving today.
TODAY: TEST CREDITS ONLY
Planned marketplace fee
Once real payment infrastructure is integrated, eligible real-money item sales would carry a 3% platform fee. The world's creator would receive 70% of that fee; the platform keeps the rest. The seller's item revenue is accounted for separately from the fee.
ILLUSTRATIVE CALCULATOR
- Platform fee (3%): 3.00
- Creator share of fee (70%): 2.10
- Platform net: 0.90
How we account for it now
Every TEST-credit purchase writes a sales record with the fee rate, creator share and the illustrative amounts computed the same way, plus a ledger entry for the buyer. Owners see these in the dashboard, clearly labelled illustrative.
What's needed before real money
The planned live currency is $WORLD on Solana. It has not launched. TEST credits will not convert to $WORLD and cannot be withdrawn.
- A verified $WORLD mint, network and token decimals; explicit creator and platform payout wallets.
- Non-custodial wallet-approved checkout with the exact token amount, recipients and network fees shown before signing.
- Server verification of confirmed transaction receipts, token mint, amounts and recipients before granting purchased items.
- A unique receipt per order and transaction, with reconciliation so retries never grant items or payouts twice.
- Separate seller revenue, creator fee share and platform fee accounting. Direct settlement would pay recipients in the checkout transaction rather than create a withdrawable test balance.
- Refund procedures, creator verification and legal/tax review where required. No private player wallet keys are held by WORLD.
What we will never promise
No dividends, revenue shares or promised profit for holding $WORLD or a collectible. Only the shared $WORLD token is planned; no creator-specific world tokens.
